Baras is a fourth class municipality located 49 kilometers from Manila, 12 kilometers from Ynares Center, Antipolo City, 14 kilometers from SM Taytay, 40 kilometers from NAIA, Pasay City, 47 kilometers from Alabang, Muntinlupa City, 25 kilometers from Pasig City and 20 kilometers from Sta. Maria, Laguna. It can easily be reached by private vehicle and by public commute via jeepneys and AUVs that ply in Mandaluyong City or Ortigas Avenue Extension.
